About the event

Join our Run/Walk in support and awareness of those who did not survive the Residential school era and for those who did. Just six years ago, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) estimated that more than 4,100 Indigenous children  perished at residential schools.  Tragically, more recent investigations have revealed thousands more unmarked gravesites. This event will raise funds for the Indian Residential School Survivors Society and local grassroots movements.  Please join us on September 30th in remembrance and to yell loudly that EVERY CHILD MATTERS.

The course will head through the beautiful YEG river valley trails, starting under the High Level Bridge and running through Hawrelak Park on wide, groomed trails, a fast and easy course for every ability to enjoy.

Swag & treats available after the race, along with a custom made wooden medal for each participant.
